LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy

You spend enough time wondering if it's safe to be yourself. For one hour, you don't have to.

Let’s Start With What Brought You Here

We know that no two journeys are the same and everyone requires a unique approach to dealing with their struggles.

So, whether you're questioning, celebrating, grieving, healing, or trying to navigate life, we're here to sit across from you as you heal.

We commonly support clients with:

Identity

  • Exploring your identity

  • Coming out

  • Gender identity

  • Self-acceptance

Relationships

  • Communication

  • Family rejection

  • Dating

  • Marriage

  • Parenting

Mental Health

  • Loneliness

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Trauma

  • Religious trauma

  • Burnout

  • Self-esteem

Whether you're searching for a therapist for yourself, your partner, or your teen, our goal is simple: to be present with you and honor your experience without making your identity a problem to solve.

The Space We’ll Create With You

One of the things we take into every session is the firm belief that your identity isn’t something you have to defend, justify, or hide. And, if you don’t yet know who you are, we will help you discover it, in a place that is safe and non-judgemental.

In other words, you won't have to spend your first session explaining why certain experiences matter or wondering whether we’re secretly judging you.

Meet Erica

She/her/hers

Therapist, Owner, & Clinical Supervisor

When it comes to how you live your life, Erica is likely the least judgemental person you’ll ever meet. Want to show up for a session in pajamas? Sit in silence for a while? Cry it out? She’s all for it. She works specifically to offer a space to breathe for those who are LGBTQIA+, trans/GNB/gender expansive, polyamorous, and non-monogamous. Throughout sessions, she’ll help you navigate your toughest problems with humor, evidence-based methods, and a little tough love when you need it.

Meet Evan

He/him/his

Licensed Therapist

Evan specializes in supporting LGBTQIA+ teens and children. This is a time where many teens and kids feel the most lost, in school as they navigate friendships and at home, as they struggle to hide their true selves. He recognizes the importance of creating a judgement-free zone for kids to be themselves. His approach to therapy helps young people build confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self while navigating school, family, sports, and relationships.

We Are Ready When You Are

Above all, our role isn't to tell you how to live your life.  So, when you sit across from us in a session (or through a screen if you’re virtual), we’ll have conversations where you can slow down, untangle what's been weighing on you, and better understand yourself, without being invalidated.

If you're looking for an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist in Gilbert or anywhere in Arizona, we'd be honored to walk alongside you.
