It takes courage to seek support, and I celebrate the space you are making for growth and healing in your life. I believe that through the process of building self-awareness, leaning into your inherent strengths, and developing new skills, you can manifest the desires you have for yourself and your life. As your therapist, my commitment is to meet you where you are at with compassion, hope, and authenticity–validating and challenging you where appropriate.
I work with adults and adolescents, and have experience in outpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential levels of care. My clients are typically struggling with depression, anxiety, self-harm, eating disorders, body image, family conflict, and/or suicidal thoughts. I rely primarily on ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and psychodynamic approaches to therapy. I am a fluent Spanish and English speaker and have experience practicing in both languages with individuals and families.
All identities are welcomed, celebrated, and embraced in the therapy I offer, as I always strive to provide a safe, holding environment. I encourage clients to advocate for themselves throughout our work together, and will embrace and integrate your feedback into treatment without judgement.
I am Mexican-American and was raised in the Arizona borderlands, but have lived in various U.S. states as well as Mexico and Thailand. I love to dance, create glass fusion art, spend time with my pets, and road trip whenever and wherever possible!
